Like Toca Boca's other apps, Toca Mystery House creates a colorful, vibrant and kid-safe world for kids. But unlike other Toca games that explore real-life activities - like dancing or getting a haircut - this game touches on the surreal and spooky.

There is a strange house on a strange street in a strange part of town. Most people were afraid of it, but I tried to sneak in.

There were so many rumors, I didn't know what to believe

Some kids say that the top floor glows at night and that crazy aliens live there. Some say there are strange experiments going on in the living room. One kid I know absolutely swears they hear strange music coming from the basement. Does the house sing? I've also talked to kids who say the whole kitchen is covered in goo. Even my best friend, who never believes in anything, told me the house was alive!

I had to see it for myself.

I did, I swear. I took a peek inside last week. First, I made sure no one was around. Then I stood on my tiptoes and peered into the kitchen window. All I could see was the edge of the refrigerator. I thought I saw some kind of slimy red stuff oozing out of it, but I wasn't sure. Then I heard a creepy rumbling sound coming from the basement. It freaked me out, and yes, I admit it, I sprinted all the way home.

But I was just curious, and I couldn't help myself. I think I'll go back. I wanted to get in. But I could really use a partner. Seriously, will you come with me?
