The rules used in the game are called "High Speed Duel", which is a simplified version of the rules known to the average player, making it easier for new players to join.
First of all, you must have a deck of cards, the main deck must reach 20 cards, not more than 30 cards, you can not use the extra deck, but the extra deck can only exist a maximum of 5 cards (to complete the "to make 100 times the same call" and "to make 100 times the excess call "Some characters' exclusive skills will be added to the specified number of cards), and only fusion monsters, congruent monsters and overdose monsters can be added.
At the beginning of the duel, a coin toss is used to determine the order of the duel, and the basic life value is 4000 (some skills will change the initial life value).
The flow of the duel in each turn is as follows: Draw Phase, Preparation Phase, Main Phase, Battle Phase, and End Phase.
The first attacker cannot draw cards in the draw phase of the first round.
There are three main categories of cards: monster cards, magic cards, and trap cards.
Monster cards are generally used by players as the main force in battle. Card information includes name, attributes, level/class, race, attack power and defense power.
There are six types of magic cards: normal, quick attack, permanent, field, equipment, and ritual, except for quick attack magic, which can only be activated during your main phase and can also be activated during the override turn. Quick Attack Spells are special in that they can be activated on your turn, and although they cannot be activated on the turn they are covered, they can be activated on your turn even if they are covered on your opponent's turn, as long as one turn has passed.
Trap cards are divided into three types: normal, permanent, and counter. Trap cards cannot be activated immediately and must be covered on the field for one turn before they can be activated. In addition, no card can be activated after a counter trap is activated.
You can win by using your deck to make your opponent's life value go to zero or your deck is empty and you can't draw any more cards. There are also special effects and skills that can be used to achieve victory by taking advantage of conditions.
