The basic premise is to drive your snake around the map and pick up glowing spheres to grow. Tap a point on the screen to change direction, or swipe your finger on the screen. You cannot pause Slither.io unless you are playing against the AI.
Pick up as many spheres as you can without letting your snake head hit another snake. If you hit another snake, you'll die. You can cross your own snake without any problem.
If you let another snake hit you, you can collect the glowing spheres to help you grow faster.
You can double tap the screen to speed up. This helps to get them out in front of slower snakes. Use it to make you smaller. You can follow a boosting snake to pick up the orbs they drop.
The goal is to grow and grow without hitting another snake. If you are the top snake at the end of the day, you can share the winning message.
