When entering the game, players can choose a number of cities in the country as their company location and on quick missions, the van and fuel will be provided by their employer. Once the player has earned a certain amount of money or taken out a bank loan, they can buy their own van, purchase a garage and can start using their own van for missions instead of using their employer's vehicle. In the game, money can be used to buy or modify new vans, hire non-player character drivers for missions and buy more garages to accommodate more vans with drivers.
After completing a mission, the player will receive experience points. Whenever the player reaches a level, the player receives a skill point. Skill points can be used to unlock more missions that require a European Dangerous Goods TIR rating to perform, longer distance missions, special cargo, fragile goods, rush jobs and eco-driving. These skills allow players to receive more money in mission payouts.
