Choose a profession that suits your style of play

In the game, each profession has a different impact on the game and fighting style, such as

Sword Master

This is the career that combines close range combat (melee) with survivability and lots of damage. If you are looking for a character that can fight hands-on and head-to-head and is basically the first line in any encounter, then this is a great profession to have. This career isn't hard, but it's not that easy either. It leans more towards the "hard" side somewhere in the middle. This career can be changed to a damage focused fighter or a Tank (tank).

Gunner

This profession is a long-range profession that focuses mainly on dealing damage, while the Master Swordsman keeps enemies busy. They have low defense, but the highest damage for a single target in the game. It is fairly easy to play Gunner, so I recommend the profession to beginners who do not have a lot of experience in the game, as they have a very simple toolkit. You can change the profession to Archer later.

Assassin

Assassins are high damage (burst damage) dealers that focus on both melee and long range attacks, so it works fine in both cases due to the later change of class to Assassin or Mage. They are not easy to handle, and even after mastering them, even defensive stats are not the best, but as far as damage is concerned, they are beasts. I don't recommend them as an entry profession because of the difficulty of handling them.

Soul Dancer

This profession can be considered a "support" profession, as they have everything from survivability to destruction and assistance. Later on, the class can be changed to "Support" or "Mage", where Support is the main support profession and Mage is the main damage maker. Soul Dancer is neither difficult nor easy to operate, and is of average difficulty. If you are used to playing the game, I suggest you give it a try as it has some very interesting mechanics!

Pay attention to all your choices

All choices you make in the game will affect your character in various ways. Each choice adds points to your character in some area, so it's important to read all the answers (when you have multiple choices) and choose the one that appeals to you the most.

It's important not to skip reading and pick randomly, as they will affect the character's personality in the long run.

To see your current character traits, click on the character icon in the upper left corner of the screen and go to the "Features" tab. Here you can see how the character's DNA has developed and see all the available traits.
