Combinations
The most standard move you can perform in this game is a simple 3 combo. Although it is technically possible to get through the first few stages without doing anything but the usual combinations, you will need to improve your strategy if you wish to clear the game to a higher level of difficulty.
Rather than always combining 3 clips to slowly clear the stage, it is better to set these up to create a large number of combos. By doing this you not only beat the stage in one huge chain reaction, but also gain points which generate more coins at the end of each level.
Get special props
While your standard 3-piece combo will detonate the props involved and nothing more, combining more props will often lead to other benefits such as creating special props. These special props, once activated, create several different effects. The special props you can create in the game include
Line Clear: is created from a row of 4 identical dailies and, when activated, clears everything horizontally or vertically depending on where the dailies are pointing.
Ice butterflies: consist of a combination of 4 squares and clear the position they are in as well as the position adjacent to the tiles in the form of a + symbol. In addition, when activated, they release a butterfly that flies towards the target and destroys it. If you have to destroy the target but there are no tiles nearby to combine with it, simply create an ice butterfly and make it fly directly towards the tiles.
